  • XOXO in Toy Boat by Rashida Coleman Hale, Cotton + Steel Basics

Choice of Two (2) Quilt Patterns from

Quilting Jetgirl Banner Needle Rocket

Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl was generous enough to offer winner’s choice of any two (2) of her quilt patterns! You can check out her available patterns in her Craftsy shop HERE. I know which two I would choose–have you seen Tesselated Leaves or Triangle Transparency!?, but which two would you choose? Here is a peek at just a few of her patterns:

  1. Sometimes necessity inspires creativity. Other times it is a burning need to make something new, different – or just the act of being creative.

  2. I’m new to quilting but have sewn off and on for many years. I’ve always been drawn to color and patterns, but I like that with quilting, something I made may be handed down to future generations.

  3. My inspiration for quilts often comes from the colors in the outdoors. Right now I’m making a quilt with all sorts of purples – inspired by the wood violets growing in my lawn and the grape hyacinths in my flower garden.

  4. I love fabric and when I see some that I must have I know exactly what I want to make with it. I am inspired by nature’s shapes and colours.

  5. I get creatively inspired by the people and things I love, but tend to get motivated to actually make things out of a combo of necessity and lack of funds to buy, ha!

  7. I’m inspired by all the beautiful projects I see on the internet, I love to follow and read blogs and it’s great to see what other people are making. Fabrics inspire me too.

  8. Everything inspires me – I see a food advert and the colours catch hy eye or a poster on the tube that has a graphic quality to it – inspiration is EVERYWHERE!!

  9. Wow! That’s a lot of comments! Your eyes have got to be getting tired from reading all those sources of inspiration. I’m inspired by… vegetables at the market, quilt blogs, my friends’ projects, new fabric. It would appear I have inspiration ADD!

  10. I am inspired to create to express my love for people – I almost exclusively create gifts for the people I love. I rarely sew for myself (though I am planning a quilt for myself & my husband for our bed – it is totally for me he would sleep under anything but he is supportive of my need to make something really beautiful).

  11. I get most inspired when I think about giving away a quilt or project and I start to think about what the recipient would really love. For some reason, if I don’t have a person in mind when I start sewing, it falls flat and I rarely finish.
